Terri Phillips | Acuna-Hansen


terri phillips “river of no return ” May 10 - June 14, 2003 Opening Reception: Saturday, May 10, 6- 9 pm Described by the artist as an unfinished first novel, “river of no return”is Terri Phillips’ second solo show with acuna-hansen gallery. Through the use of video and small scale, ephemeral sculptures, Terri continues to mine the space that exists between reality and fantasy. Phillips has published two books of poetry, completed numerous performance pieces, and exhibited in London, Paris, Mantachie, New York, and Los Angeles. Phillips attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts before graduating from the California Institute of the Arts in 1996. Acuna-Hansen Gallery [ah] is located at 427 Bernard Street in the Chinatown area of Los Angeles. Gallery hours are Wednesday thru Saturday from 12 to 6pm.
